About Me

GENEALOGY RESEARCH
I am an amateur Genealogist, planning to become certified in 2-3 years. If you would like some help, I'm happy to give it a try to give myself more experience. Send me a message through my contact form at the bottom of this site.

ARTS AND CRAFTS
It's what I do. Embroidery, basic crochet, painting with acrylics and watercolor, mixed media pieces, and random crafts.

ANIMALS
I'm animal crazy. I'll tell you more about my cats, dog, bunny, ferret, and mouse than you probably wish I will. Also, I dream of having an alpaca, mini-goat, sheep, and horse farm.

MENTAL HEALTH
I've had depression for 20 years, and recently discovered that I have bipolar II. I'll write about what that's been like, and what comes up day to day.

Seeing both kids create these houses and buildings in a virtual world brought back that desire to make my own "imaginary homes" again, and give young-me a digital upgrade. About a year ago I saw that the game (just the base game, not any of the extras) was for sale for something crazy like $5, so I finally took the...
